The Elegant One - 65x180cm Scarf

Soft, graceful, and quietly expressive, The Elegant One earned its name because I always imagined it in a more refined setting: a piece that brings softness, grace, and quiet presence to what someone is wearing.

This hand-drawn design began with the flower at its centre and gradually expanded outward until it filled the page. I first sketched the form in ink, then slowly built the composition with layers of colour, texture, and detail using ink and coloured pencils.

To me, The Elegant One represents grace and graceful movement. It has a gentler tone than some of my other designs, with layered sections that create depth and invite a closer look.

What makes this scarf especially meaningful to me is how naturally it became wearable. I did not originally imagine this design as a scarf, but when I began styling it in different ways, I was pleasantly surprised. It creates a soft and elegant frame around the shoulders, with the flowers seeming to fall exactly where they should.

Professionally printed on soft polyester chiffon satin, this scarf has a flowing, silk-like feel and works beautifully as wearable art with a softer, more refined tone. It pairs especially well with black, navy, grey, cream, and other classic wardrobe colours.
